WHO WE ARE
Our Map, LLC and Dane County Multi-Agency Center, Inc. (collectively, “we,” “our,” or “us”) have developed on online resource Portal (“Portal”) designed to provide confidential and comprehensive services to survivors of sexual assault (“Survivors,” “you,” or “your”). The Portal is designed to empower Survivors to choose the resources and services they need (“Services”) in a single and confidential space. The Portal may be accessed at www.danemap.org. Currently, the Portal is a pilot program and will be provided in connection with users from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
We are highly committed to protecting the privacy and data of all Survivors who use the Portal and related Services. Given the nature of the Portal and the Services, we collect data that is personal data, including sensitive personal data. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to disclose to you how we collect, use, share and safeguard the data we collect and process.

SERVICE PROVIDERS
We partner with organizations that provide valuable resources to Survivors through the Portal (“Service Providers”). Service Providers include advocates, survivor service providers, law enforcement, legal providers, medical providers and counselors. We will not provide your information or data to any Service Providers unless you request us to through the Portal. Our goal is to provide you with personal autonomy and control over the Services you select and the information you share.

WHY WE COLLECT DATA AND HOW WE COLLECT IT
We collect, process and use your personal data (“Personal Data”) to provide our Portal and the Services to you. For example, we collect, use and process Personal Data to:
- Permit you to create a free, secure, personal profile;
- Permit you to access our network of local Service Providers in a secure and confidential manner;
- Provide you with resources and information regarding support options;
- Permit you to schedule meetings and message your selected Service Providers;
- Permit you to upload and important records, preserve incident details;
- Permit you to share the Personal Data your select to share with your Service Providers;
- Reduce the number of times you are asked by service providers for the same Personal Data;
- Communicate with you;
- Process and maintain your profile, information and documents;
- Provide you with support;
- Personalize your experience on our Portal.
- Improve our Portal and Services available;
- Measure the performance of our Portal and the Services;
- Monitor and improve the security and integrity of the Portal and Services;
- Maintain, improve and customize our Portal and the Services;
- Comply with grant funding requirements;
- Comply with applicable law; and
- Defend our legal rights and the rights of others.

PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY GENERALLY
- Industry-Standard Protection. We utilize industry-standard security measures to safeguard the Personal Data we collect, maintain and use. These measures include technical and procedural steps to protect your Personal Data from misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, loss, alteration or destruction.
- Services Providers. We have entered into contractual agreements with the Service Providers that utilize our Portal and require them to take steps to safeguard your Personal Data and to use your Personal Data provided through the Portal only for the purposes of providing you with Services.
- Limitation on Access. We limit access to the Personal Data we collect and store to only our employees and/or vendors who require access to it to perform a job or other contracted function on our behalf (such as hosting the Portal, etc.). We require all vendors we work with to use industry standard protocols to maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of Personal Data.
- Deidentified and Anonymized Data. If we use data to measure the nature and type of Services Provided, to improve Portal functionality, or to measure outcomes generally, we will utilize only deidentified and anonymized data.
- Privilege and Confidentiality. The relationship between you and your selected Service Providers may be protected by certain privileges (such as the attorney-client privilege) or other confidentiality requirements afforded by Wisconsin or federal laws. Use of the Portal to communicate with Service Providers or to share information and documentation with Service Providers (standing alone) will not and does not constitute a waiver of any privilege or confidentiality requirements.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
At this time, the Portal is available only to individuals seventeen (17) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, process, store, use or share the Personal Data of individuals under (17) seventeen years old.

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
- Personal Data You Provide Directly To Us. We may collect the following categories of Personal Data if you provide it to us:
- Contact information and identifiers (such as name, local and permanent address, company name, telephone number, electronic mail address);
- Information and documentation you provide for your profile (information about you and any incidents you document, information on your selected Service Providers);
- Information you provide to us when you communicate with us or Service Providers through the Portal;
- Information regarding any affiliation you have with other organizations, such as the University of Wisconsin-Madison;
- Any other information you provide to us.
- Data We Collect Via Tracking Technology.
We use cookies and other tracking technologies (such as pixels and web beacons) (collectively, “cookies”) to collect information as you navigate the Portal. Cookies are small files of information that are stored by your web browser software on your computer hard drive, mobile or other devices (e.g., smartphones or tablets). The information collected includes:
- Unique personal identifiers (device identifiers, cookies, beacons, pixel tags, mobile ad identifiers and other forms or persistent or probabilistic identifiers that can be used to identify a particular consumer or device); and
- Internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing history; search history; and information regarding your interaction with website, application or advertisement).
You can also control the use of cookies at the browser level by setting your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to block all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of our Site and Services. In addition, most advertising networks offer you a way to opt out of targeted advertising. - Personal Data Your Selected Providers Provide to Us. If you select to utilize or communicate with Service Providers through the Portal, we will process and store that Personal Data as part of our Services.
- Personal Data You Provide Directly To Us. We may collect the following categories of Personal Data if you provide it to us:

PERSONAL DATA WE SHARE WITH THIRD PARTIES
- With Service Providers. We will share the Personal Data you ask us to share with the Service Providers you select to receive Services from through the Portal.
- With our vendors. We may share Personal Data with our contracted vendors who:
- perform data services on our behalf, such as Portal development, hosting and cloud storage services;
- provide other services on our behalf, such as cookie management services and data privacy and security services; and
- provide other secure services on our behalf.
- To Meet Our Legal Requirements or Exercise Our Rights. We may share Personal Data with third parties when we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights. However, if we are required to share Personal Data, we will take all steps necessary to first protect the confidentiality, privacy and security of such Personal Data.
- At Your Request. We will share your Personal Data when you request or otherwise consent to the disclosures.

- You may decline to provide Personal Data. You have the right to decide not to share Personal Data with us.
PLEASE NOTE, HOWEVER, THAT IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PROVIDE US WITH CERTAIN INFORMATION, WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH SOME OF OUR SERVICES.
- You may edit or delete Personal Data in your profile. You may edit and/or delete any information or documentation you include in your profile. You may do this by accessing your profile and/or by contacting us at hello@danecenter.org.
PLEASE NOTE, HOWEVER, THAT SOMETIMES PERSONAL DATA SHARED WITH OTHER PROVIDERS MAY NOT BE EDITED OR DELETED DUE TO LEGAL AND OTHER OBLIGATIONS.
IF YOU BECOME A PLAINTIFF OR RESPONDENT IN ANY CIVIL ACTION, YOU MAY HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO PRESERVE YOUR RECORDS. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO CONSULT WITH AN ATTORNEY IF YOU BELIEVE YOU MAY BE SUBJECT TO SUCH REQUIREMENTS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DELETE ANY PERSONAL DATA THAT YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO PRESERVE.
- You may decline to provide Personal Data. You have the right to decide not to share Personal Data with us.

SECURITY
When you create a profile on the Portal, you may be required to choose or will be assigned a password which enables you to access the Portal and Services. You are responsible for keeping this password confidential and for all activity that takes place through your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. If your password is compromised, change your password within your profile right away. If you believe your account may have been compromised, please also notify us right away.
We take industry standard security measures to protect your Personal Data. We also have put into place appropriate agreements and/or procedures with our service providers to ensure that your Personal Data is treated consistent with applicable data privacy and security laws.

DATA RETENTION
We will store your Personal Data for as long as: (a) you maintain a profile with us; (b) you continue using our Portal and/or the Services; (c) your Personal Data is stored in our back up servers and/or services; (d) in accordance with our retention policies and schedules; and (e) as long as we are legally required to retain the Personal Data.
MODIFICATIONS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy by posting a notice on the Portal.
